My son is going through this program . He graduated. Now he's in the halfway house sofar it seems real and giving other drugs to stay off them . But I pray he is saved , and his life will be replinished by wisdom and experience .

If not for these guys, we might have buried my brother n law, Bob, earlier this year. I buried my brother at 51 and my sister at 48 because of alcohol. Of course all Jellinek can do is help. It is an individual who has to make the decision to stay sober. Admitting you are powerless over alcohol(which really isn't a big deal) is so important, freeing, and turning to a higher power is important. We live in TX and have spent several thousand dollars trying to help driving back and fourth to help his brother and sister take care of him. I think what hurts the most is the fear he'll turn and do it all over again and the lack of appreciation. You can't live their lies for them.
